It's titled "Mandinka", based on a Sinèad O'Connor song of the same name. Supposedly, the song is based on a book called "Roots" and it's some kind of historical novel that has to do with the Mandinka people in Africa.
I have no intention of reading the book and the drawing is more what the song means to me. Specially the lyrics: "I don't know no shame, I feel no pain, I can't see the flame", which are pretty great, if you ax me.
The drawing is 10 x 14 inches, pencil, colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic over paper <3

A mini-series was made about it in 1977, if you ask older people -older than you-, they probably remember the name Kunta kinte.
